About our Information Technology Teams

With over 350 staff, the University’s technology teams are a key enabling factor for the University to deliver on its ambitions. We run the network for eight campuses, with 100TB outgoing internet traffic daily. We support over 650 technologies and nearly 700 applications, and we manage storage for 800TB enterprise data on premises. Beyond our enterprise, data and digital domains, we run specialist technology for research computing and deliver projects that uplift the experience of our students. Our diverse technology environment is supported by a cybersecurity team who use best-in-class tooling to evolve their defense capabilities and improve the University’s cyber resilience.
